Room for Growth

Philip's Academy Charter School currently contains a K-1 school in Paterson, NJ, and a PreK-8 school in Newark, NJ. NorthStar analyzed the enrollment projections and created a Master Project Plan for the board. The plan included architectural programming, block diagrams, cost estimates, and a three-year total project schedule, which would ultimately expand the Paterson school to PreK-5 and the Newark campus to PreK-12. The plan also presented options for modifying the existing spaces for a short-term solution. NorthStar compiled the project design team, coordinated with financial lenders, and analyzed the feasibility of potential sites in Paterson.
